Hayle’s Heritage is on the Move This Summer

While Hayle Heritage Centre remains closed for renovations, we’re bringing Hayle’s history out into the community with our Mobile Museum Project.

This travelling exhibition will visit locations across Hayle and St Erth throughout the summer and autumn, giving residents and visitors the chance to explore local heritage through displays of artefacts, the new town banner, 3D-printed handling objects, oral history recordings, and a selection of local history books. There will also be free Arts Award craft activities for children and families.

As well as discovering Hayle’s rich past, visitors will have the opportunity to share their memories, stories and ideas for the future, helping us shape the new Hayle Museum.

Sadly the first date has had to be cancelled and will be re-scheduled at a later date. Sorry to all that were excited to visit our very first mobile date.
